Up All Night at Fionn MacCool’s on the Esplanade Toronto – 250 Years of Guinness!
Hola! The band had a great gig on Saturday. We performed at Fionn MacCool’s on the Esplanade here in the bands adopted home town of Toronto. We played in support of an event celebrating Arthur Guinness’ 250th birthday! I kid you not… there was a half ton block of ice carved to look like a pint of Guinness. They had carved a channel in so you could pour a pint in the top and it would come out the bottom super cold… like a booze luge… I almost cried it was so beautiful. Then I tried to lick it. The bartender was unimpressed.
Filling in on guitar for Derek this week was the amazing Sean Cunnington. Saturday night was Sean’s first gig with us and we were all real impressed by his attempt at a Celtic version of “Hot For Teacher”. Stunning really. Golf Clap.
